Adaptability Project : A Personal Journey
This journey starts as a personal exploration we each take, to decipher which parts of our world view are elements of our inherited cultural map. These foundational ideas upon which we base our lives are expressed as stories and guiding myths -- the underpinnings of how we see ourselves and civilization. In Dumanoski's words, they have become "obsolete and dangerous."
The misinformation and unhealthy ideas which have allowed our species to push our planet into such an unhealthy state are deeply woven into these guiding myths. Once a group of individuals has recognized and replaced these internalized, destructive ideas, they can come together as truly open-minded, objective and informed communities that can endure in a future that begins to embody the essence of what we consider realistic hope.
